Kathy is a powerhouse marketing leader with 18 years of experience driving strategic growth, change management, and digital transformation for beloved brands.
Kathy has worked with pet care businesses of all sizes, from the largest private equity-funded consolidator with 150+ unique pet care brands, to small local no-kill animal shelters, and national pet therapy associations.
Additionally, she led Go-To-Market plans for a national pet care mobile app rollout, garnering a 20% download rate in the first year (2x goal), and piloted two pet wellness programs based on a monthly subscription model. She has extensive experience with M&A integration, scaling a business to support multiple locations, and building high-performing marketing teams.

Our Name: Belle Bear Marketing
In 2015, a Southern Belle was in search of a new life in a colder climate. She fell in love with Maine’s natural beauty, four seasons, and a slower pace of life. She journeyed from Georgia to Maine (like the Appalachian Trail, but by car!) and started a new life there.
Upon meeting her husband, a native Mainer, she introduced herself as half Southern Belle, half Polar Bear. He immediately combined them to “Belle Bear.” The Polar Bear has become the official spirit animal of the Guillory Family.
Authenticity is a big differentiator in marketing with so much noise across multiple platforms and channels.
When it came time to name her Fractional CMO Consultancy, “Belle Bear Marketing” was the natural choice. She could have gone with “Kathy Guillory Consulting” or something more traditional. But she wanted something authentic to her, as the founder, yet separate enough to stand on its own.
